A Master Class in Gremlin-Taming®:

1. Your mind is a giant warehouse filled with remnants and representations of direct experience.

2. In the warehouse, there dwells the monster of the mind - your gremlin.

3. Your Heart is the home and the source of true love.

4. To help restore your emotional equilibrium after a shake-up, you might want to ask yourself four key questions: What's so? So what? So what? And, what now?

5. The Zen Theory of Change is: I free myself not by trying to free myself, but by simply noticing how I am imprisoning myself in the very moment I am imprisoning myself.

6. One powerful option to play with when freeing yourself from your gremlin's grip is to accent the obvious.

7. The first six principles of the Gremlin-Taming Method, known as The Basics of Pleasure, comprise a means of establishing your sense of centeredness, even in the midst of upheaval.

8. The first Basic of Pleasure is: make being centered and feeling good a top priority.

9. The second is: remember that doing so is primarily an inside job.

10. The third Basic of Pleasure is: stay aware of where you end and all else begins, the miraculous sheath known as your skin.

11. The fourth Basic of Pleasure is: breathe, dammit, breathe.

12. The fifth Basic of Pleasure is: relax your pact to keep your act intact.

13. The sixth is: establish the here and now as your home base from which you consciously direct your spotlight of awareness.

14. The next three principles of gremlin-taming are called The Art of Graceful Change. This is a three-step process for freeing yourself from your hypnotic pre-convictions (HPCs), your outdated Habitual Behavior Patterns (HBPs), and your gremlin's chatter.

15. The first step in the Art of Graceful Change is this: simply notice.

16. The second step is this: play with options.

17. The third step is this: Be in process.

18. The last seven principles of the Gremlin-Taming Method are represented in the acronym I CREATE. This acronym represents a system for creating rewarding relationships.

19. The I in I CREATE stands for Intention.

20. The C in I CREATE stands for Connection.

21. The R in I CREATE stands for Respect.

22. The first E in I CREATE stands for Environment.

23. The A in I CREATE stands for Authenticity.

24. The T in I CREATE stands for Trust.

25. The final E in I CREATE stands for Environment.

26. Using the phrase "until now" will serve as a helpful reminder of your ability to change an outdated belief or behavior.

27. Service and servitude are not the same thing.

28. SNDHBL (pronounced snidabul) is a system for simply and clearly and authentically reporting your experience. The H in SNDHBL stands for hush.

29. Your Heart is the core of the natural you.

30. Your gremlin is not cute!
